Position Overview:
The Junior Financial Specialist (IFA BPA) is a vital member of our financial team, contributing to the success of our organization’s financial management systems and procedures within the context of Individual Financial Agreement (IFA) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). This entry-level position is ideal for a motivated individual with strong communication skills and a passion for financial administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management System:
– Utilize a minimum of three (3) years of professional work experience in an office environment to support various financial tasks and administrative functions.
– Oversee payment processing and the accurate recording of accounting entries, ensuring adherence to compliance, transparency, and efficiency.
– Continuously improve financial processes to enhance accountability and financial control.
– Stay updated on best practices in financial management.
– Identify financial risks and vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
– Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets and prevent fraud or mismanagement.
- Microsoft Office Competence:
– Showcase advanced competence in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
– Use these tools to facilitate financial data analysis, reporting, and documentation.
- Professional Qualification or Specialized Training:
– While not mandatory, having a professional financial management/accountancy qualification or specialized training is a valuable asset.
– Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance financial skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, public administration, or a related field is preferred.
Work Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of professional work experience in an office environment is required.
Communication Skills: Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills in English are required.
